Michelangelo AI, conversations about Arts, Culture, Spirituality and the role of Artificial Intelligence

Michelangelo AI creates a virtual Michelangelo, with the great artist’s own personality, sensibility, and life experience.

The project grows out of a collaboration between the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore (OPA) – the Foundation which oversees the Cathedral of Florence, for which Michelangelo’s David was carved, and which owns the second of his three Pietàs -, and Querlo, specialized in Conversational Artificial Intelligence.

A team of OPA experts with in-depth knowledge of Michelangelo’s life helped Querlo create AI conversation models that let the great artist answer questions, sharing his beliefs, convictions and aspirations. Michelangelo, who was a poet as well as an artist, once again speaks.
