Mastering Human Management Before Technology: A Conversation with Anas Zeineddine

Lorenzo Meriggi / October 9, 2020

In continuation with Querlo’s interview series, Francesco Rulli, Global CEO of Querlo, spoke with Anas Zeineddine, Executive Director at Krypto Labs, about the challenges and opportunities in the post-covid era and the role of Artificial Intelligence in the future.

Krypto Labs is an innovation hub based in Abu Dhabi. They focus on innovation and entrepreneurship and run many innovation-based programs for startups. In addition, they help connect various startups and entrepreneurs with a network of mentors and investors

During the pandemic, Krypto Labs has gained a lot more traction due to their ability to continue their programs. Anas discussed how they realized that by doing programs and other work remotely, they can have a greater outreach and increase engagement. In addition, working remotely has been more cost effective than running programs out of offices and event spaces. Anas envisions that this positive trend will continue in the post-covid era.

Artificial Intelligence has been a hot topic for many years and is something that everyone seems to want. One of the challenges is that not everyone understands what it is and what they want out of it. Anas discussed how many companies haven’t fully mastered the human intelligence and management aspect of how to run a business, so implementing AI will only add to the challenge. However, he does think AI will be significantly beneficial with curing out day-to-day mundane tasks. This will also create an opportunity for companies to apply more of a human and empathetic perspective into their work. To learn more, you can visit Anas or Krypto Labs on LinkedIn.
